Many of the children in North Carolina Group Homes and Family Foster Care Homes during the holiday season may never have these experiences. Their lives have been turned upside down and often they feel forgotten. Help sponsor a Foster Child’s Holiday Wish List and you’ll help them create happy memories in an otherwise difficult time in their lives.
How does the Fostering Faith Foundation make this happen and how can you help?
Each child writes their wish list. These are things they need and things they hope to receive. We then ask the Children’s Homes to submit the wish lists to us. We then work to then match the children with donors in our community to fulfill those wishes. It’s that easy!
Each year, we want to make the magic of the holidays a reality for children who need it most and restore their faith in the holiday season once again. There are easy ways to get involved.
Sponsor a Child
When you become a sponsor, you’ll receive a child’s name, age, clothing sizes, and wishes. You’ll purchase the gifts and coordinate a drop-off with us or at one of our sponsored Drop-Off locations. Donate General Gifts
Unable to sponsor a child? There are many other valuable ways to help, including toy donation. These toys will be collected throughout the year to fulfill the wishes of any child who didn’t get sponsored or came into Foster Care during December. You can coordinate your gift drop-off with us or at one of our Sponsoring Locations. Fostering Faith Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible.
Donate a Monetary Gift
Don’t have time for shopping? Let the Fostering Faith Foundation Volunteers do it for you! Your valuable monetary donation will go toward the purchase of holiday gifts. PLEASE NOTE: Because of privacy laws and the confidential nature of what is done as well as the children’s cases at the Group Homes and within Foster Care, we do not post pictures of children receiving the gifts.
