Today, we wanted to share a heartwarming story that truly exemplifies the power of community and your giving to Fostering Faith Foundation. We received a call for a sweet 1.5 year old girl who has recently found herself in foster care and now having to go to a new foster families home. Adjusting to a new home can be challenging for any child, but thanks to the incredible generosity we receive from our donors, this sweet little girl received some much-needed essentials for her new foster home.
Fostering Faith Foundation is an organization dedicated to supporting foster and kinship children and their families, provided this sweet little girl with the necessities she needs to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. From clothing and toys to bedding and toiletries, every item was thoughtfully chosen to make her transition as smooth as possible.
In partnership with local businesses and individual donors, the Resource Center at Fostering Faith Foundation ensures that children coming into care have access to the essential items that foster and kinship families may struggle to get in the short window of their arrival to their temporary home.
This is one way, outside of our Christmas wishes, contributions help us take the burden off of the families and children we serve, as everything is no cost to them. It’s incredible how simple acts of kindness can make such a profound impact on a child’s well-being.
This little act allows her foster parents and other children in the home focus on providing her with love, care, and stability during this crucial time in her life.
